Last updated: on deployment. This Privacy Policy explains how CareerPlus ("we"), operated by Levi EduTech, collects, uses, and protects your personal data, consistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and the NDPR.

1. Data controller

Levi EduTech is the data controller for personal data processed through CareerPlus. Contact details and, where applicable, a Data Protection Officer are published on our main site.

2. Personal data we collect

Account and identity details you provide (name, email, password — stored only as a secure hash); your application, placement, enrollment, and learning-progress data; payment records processed through our payment partner (we do not store full card details); and basic technical/usage data such as IP address and device/browser information.

3. Lawful basis & purposes

We process your data to deliver the programme and your enrollment (performance of a contract), to process payments and issue certificates, to communicate with you about your account, to keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest), and to meet legal obligations. Where we rely on consent (e.g. optional communications), you may withdraw it at any time.

4. Sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to run CareerPlus — for example our payment processor and email provider — under appropriate safeguards, and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Subject to the NDPA/NDPR, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details on our main site. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

7. Security

We use technical and organisational measures — including password hashing, encryption in transit, access controls, and logging — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep risks low.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in and to remember your cookie-consent choice. You can manage cookies in your browser. See the banner shown on your first visit.

9. Children

CareerPlus is intended for users who can lawfully enter a contract. We do not knowingly collect data from children without appropriate consent.
